DAR Membership Info

DAR lapel pin image.The Lagonda Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution was chartered by the National organization on April 21, 1895. All DAR chapters worldwide promote education, historic preservation and partiotism through programs and committee work. Lagonda Chapter members have served the National and State Society of DAR as officers and chairpersons.

Membership is open to women 18 years and older whose ancestor(s) served in achieving American Independence. She shall provide lineal blood line by documentation for each generation. This shall include birth certificates, marriage licenses and death certificates that will link each generation to the next. Acceptable ancestral service is between April 19, 1775 and November 26, 1783.
